The acting is excellent, set design is great, and the entire production is aesthetically pleasing to watch. It features good cinematography, decent lighting, and good sound design. Angus is a heavy drinker early on and is drunk andįaith Like Potatoes is a notch above average technically. In a disturbing scene a boy falls off a tractor and is run over by its wheel. Just a simple farmer changed by God’s grace. Where others evangelistic endeavors in this film are all about the razzle dazzle, Angus goes in with his humble testimony. True faith and the effectual prayers of a righteous man. Every time the miracles provide for needs and proclaim the glory of God. And at the same time this is not a name it and claim it film. Many times his faith is put to the test in circumstances where there seems to be no hope. The center of this story is grounded in the power of faith. You can see him slowly learn to have faith in God. He goes from an angry, self-made man to a man of great faith.
But soon the grace and life changing grace of God softens his heart. It’s the true story of a man who at first rejects religion. The transformations in Angus’ character are genuine and inspiring.
